Hello, this is my third year at Indian Hills. I, like most people in the world am a huge Pittsburgh Pirate and Steelers fan. I grew up in Granger, Iowa, and attended Woodward-Granger High School. I played football, basketball, track and baseball. I went to Simpson College and played football. I have been teaching for 30 years, my first job was in Melcher-Dallas, Iowa. My wife MaryBeth teaches and coaches volleyball at Adel-Desoto-Minburn. I have 3 sons who all went to Indian Hills. Trey graduated from Simpson, and is a graduate student at Washington University in St. Louis, studying amoeba communication. Lee graduated from Wartburg College, and ran cross country and track. He now lives in the San Berndino Mountains as a Naturalist. Turner is a redshirt freshman at Truman State in Kirksville, and is playing basketball. My claim to fame is that I have ran a marathon in all 50 states, and my best time was 2:27.28, but that was a long, long time ago. Last year I coached the math counts team, and was an assistant for girls track. This year I will add helping out with IH cross country and Valley Girls CC.
